Painting Autumn

Autumn is such a beautiful time of the year. Colorful trees of all sizes sweep the sky and pumpkins and apples decorate the city. Some of the most talented artists in history have captured the essence and texture of a fallscape in the form of paintings. We appreciate these painters’ unique styles and subjects, as it is a wonderful thing to be able to recreate a crisp September day! Here are some of our favorite fallscapes.
Autumn Effect at Argenteuil by Claude Monet

Catskill Mountain House by Thomas Cole
After the Rain by Leonid Afremov
Autumn Leaves by John Everett Millais
We hope these paintings inspired you as much as they inspired us! Why not create your own fallscape and share it with us on Facebook?
