This season is perfect for curling up on the couch with a warm cup of something — whether it’s coffee, hot cocoa or tea! We recently designed our own mugs during our Winter/Spring class, and it was so much fun.

Did you know that there is an art (and an Instagram account!) dedicated to unique coffee cups? It is fun to look at them all and be instantly transported to a new destination by understanding how their local artists are inspired. Here are some of our favorite coffee cups of the world!
We love the colors and fruit pattern that adorn this cup from a coffee shop in London.
These flamingos from a shop in Singapore transport us to tropical temperatures and beach landscapes!
… will keep the doctor away. This one’s local, from The Smile here in New York City!
This colorful cup from India is too beautiful to throw away!
This cup from Australia has a story. The design is inspired by the architecture, textiles and traditions of Guatemala, and 5% of sales will be donated to organizations in coffee producing nations.
This floral cup from New Zealand reminds us of a pattern that might be found in a second-hand shop downtown.
We’ve never seen a scene illustrated on a coffee cup — and we want to see more! This cup was designed by an artist in Scotland, @CoffeeIllustrated.
Have you sipped upon a cool coffee cup? Next time you do, snap a picture and share it with us on Twitter!
